Les premiers produits de l'entreprise sont des capteurs pour les salles d'op\u00e9ration. Ils servent \u00e0 collecter des donn\u00e9es sur les proc\u00e9dures et am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des soins chirurgicaux.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21 millions de dollars ! C\u2019est la somme consid\u00e9rable que vient de lever la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Apella, lors d'un tour de table men\u00e9 par Casdin Capital. Parmi les autres investisseurs du cycle de financement figurent Vensana Capital, PFM Health Sciences, Twine Ventures, Upside Partnership et Operator Partners. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9voit d'utiliser les fonds de la s\u00e9rie A pour installer ses syst\u00e8mes dans de nouveaux h\u00f4pitaux. Son objectif ne s'arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0. Elle compte aussi agrandir ses \u00e9quipes et de cr\u00e9er de nouvelles applications pour sa plateforme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab <em>Chez Apella, nous savons que nous ne pouvons pas am\u00e9liorer ce que nous ne pouvons pas mesurer<\/em> \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 David Schummers, cofondateur et PDG d'Apella, dans une annonce officielle.  \u00ab <em>Nous d\u00e9veloppons des m\u00e9thodes syst\u00e9matiques d'am\u00e9lioration continue qui peuvent \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 tous les types d'op\u00e9rations et de proc\u00e9dures m\u00e9dicales. <\/em>\u00bb  Apella pr\u00e9voit maintenant de poursuivre l'installation de ses capteurs d'IA dans les h\u00f4pitaux afin de recueillir davantage de donn\u00e9es. Cela lui permettrait <br \/>\u00ab <em>d'am\u00e9liorer les op\u00e9rations, de former le personnel, de prendre des d\u00e9cisions m\u00e9dicales et d'optimiser les r\u00e9sultats des op\u00e9rations<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-concurrents-d-apella\">Les concurrents d\u2019Apella<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe actuellement de nombreuses autres entreprises qui d\u00e9veloppent des outils num\u00e9riques pour am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des proc\u00e9dures chirurgicales et de la formation. Proximie se trouve \u00e0 Londres. Elle utilise la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e, l'IA et l'apprentissage automatique pour permettre aux m\u00e9decins d'assister virtuellement aux op\u00e9rations. Elle vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 fournir une assistance \u00e0 distance. Cet automne, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a conclu un partenariat avec le g\u00e9ant de la t\u00e9l\u00e9sant\u00e9 Teladoc Health. L\u2019objectif ? Int\u00e9grer son logiciel dans la plateforme de soins virtuels de Teladoc destin\u00e9e aux h\u00f4pitaux et aux syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plusieurs entreprises utilisent \u00e9galement la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle pour la formation ou la pr\u00e9paration des op\u00e9rations chirurgicales. C\u2019est notamment le cas de Vantari VR, FundamentalVR et Osso VR. Ces derni\u00e8res peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour former des m\u00e9decins et des \u00e9tudiants en m\u00e9decine \u00e0 la chirurgie ou pour d'autres travaux cliniques. Entre-temps, PrecisionOS a obtenu l'approbation 510(k) de la FDA pour son syst\u00e8me InVisionOS. Ce dispositif permet aux chirurgiens de planifier leurs op\u00e9rations en utilisant la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-ia-dans-le-bloc-op-ratoire\">L'IA dans le bloc op\u00e9ratoire<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L'intelligence artificielle s'am\u00e9liore pour faire son entr\u00e9e dans les blocs op\u00e9ratoires. Au d\u00e9but de l'\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier, les chirurgiens de l'h\u00f4pital ZNA Stuivenberg d'Anvers commen\u00e7aient \u00e0 utiliser <a href=\"https:\/\/smarthealth.live\/fr\/2021\/06\/29\/unique-en-europe-un-chirurgien-danvers-remplace-un-genou-avec-des-lunettes-ra\/\">la technologie de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e pour poser des proth\u00e8ses de genou sur les patients<\/a>. La technologie NextAR est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une \u00e9tape r\u00e9volutionnaire. Elle consiste en une plateforme en ligne et des lunettes de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e.
