Ces cerniers utilisent des m\u00e9thodes d'IA pour d\u00e9tecter, diagnostiquer et traiter des cancers rares.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La prise de d\u00e9cision m\u00e9dicale concernant les traitements des cancers rares est de plus en plus complexe. De nombreux traitements n\u00e9cessitent des donn\u00e9es sur l'immunologie, la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique ou la biologie des syst\u00e8mes. Cela entra\u00eene une expansion rapide des connaissances oncologiques et une croissance exponentielle du nombre de dossiers \u00e9lectroniques de patients et de donn\u00e9es disponibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D'apr\u00e8s le RadboudUMC, il existe une demande croissante de traitement personnalis\u00e9 du cancer. Chaque patient repr\u00e9sente un d\u00e9fi en mati\u00e8re de big data, avec d'\u00e9normes quantit\u00e9s d'informations sur l'\u00e9tat actuel et les trajectoires pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Tout cela rend la prise de d\u00e9cision m\u00e9dicale de plus en plus complexe. Ce qui entra\u00eene une sous-optimisation des d\u00e9cisions. Or, l\u2019utilisation de l'IA peut souvent am\u00e9liorer la d\u00e9tection, le diagnostic et le traitement des cancers rares. Des informations d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur les trois projets sont disponibles sur le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radboudumc.nl\/nieuws\/2021\/hanarth-fonds-honoreert-drie-ai-projecten-voor-zeldzame-kanker\">site web de Radboudumc<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-focus-sur-ces-trois-projets-d-ia\">Focus sur ces trois projets d\u2019IA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Au Radboudumc, trois projets d'IA ax\u00e9s sur l'oncologie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s par une subvention du Fonds Hanarth. Le premier consiste \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9thodes d'intelligence artificielle pour affiner le diagnostic du cancer gastrique diffus (<em>Unmasking the invisible cancer : digital detection of diffuse type gastric carcinoma<\/em>). Difficile \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter lors des biopsies, il peut facilement passer inaper\u00e7u aux yeux des m\u00e9decins. L'intelligence artificielle va servir de support au pathologiste en am\u00e9liorant la d\u00e9tection des types de cellules malades. Un moyen suppl\u00e9mentaire qui offre un grand potentiel pour affiner les diagnostics canc\u00e9rologiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Improved transparent AI methods for personalised prediction based on rare cancers data \u00bb (Am\u00e9lioration des m\u00e9thodes transparentes d'intelligence artificielle pour la pr\u00e9diction personnalis\u00e9e bas\u00e9e sur les donn\u00e9es relatives aux cancers rares) est le second projet. Il est men\u00e9 par Marianne Jonker, Kit Roes, Carla van Herpen et Ton Coolen. Ce projet cherche des solutions pour contourner la difficult\u00e9 de l'identification des traitements pour les cancers rares. Une probl\u00e9matique en partie due aux contraintes de partage des donn\u00e9es des patients provenant de diff\u00e9rentes institutions. Les r\u00e9glementations sont strictes et elles se heurtent \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes de logistiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-projet-final\">Projet final<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet final se nomme \u00ab Fusion de donn\u00e9es multimodales pour guider le d\u00e9veloppement d'immunoth\u00e9rapies pour les patients atteints de m\u00e9lanome oculaire \u00bb. Aux Pays-Bas, le m\u00e9lanome oculaire survient chez environ 200 patients par an. Et la moiti\u00e9 d\u2019entre eux d\u00e9veloppent des m\u00e9tastases. Le m\u00e9lanome oculaire diff\u00e8re cliniquement et g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement du m\u00e9lanome cutan\u00e9. De plus, la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l'immunoth\u00e9rapie est faible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour faire simple, ce projet consiste, entre autres, \u00e0 une analyse de l'imagerie et des donn\u00e9es provenant de plusieurs groupes de patients pour \u00e9tudier les interactions tumeur-immunit\u00e9. Il mesure \u00e9galement le risque de sur-adaptation des data (un probl\u00e8me dans l'exploration des donn\u00e9es lorsque des variations al\u00e9atoires  sont class\u00e9es \u00e0 tort comme des mod\u00e8les importants) et les probl\u00e8mes potentiels dans la fusion des donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trois projets d'IA de l'h\u00f4pital n\u00e9erlandais Radboudumc viennent de recevoir des subventions du Fonds Hanarth.
