Un nouveau<\/strong> rapport<\/strong><\/a> du minist\u00e8re am\u00e9ricain de la sant\u00e9 et des services sociaux montre que la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine am\u00e9ricaine a explos\u00e9 en 2020. La t\u00e9l\u00e9sant\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e 63 fois plus qu'en 2019 dans le pays. Cette croissance est principalement due \u00e0 l'utilisation num\u00e9rique de la sant\u00e9 comportementale et mentale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsque les \u00c9tats-Unis ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 une urgence de sant\u00e9 publique le 31 janvier 2020 pour lutter contre le coronavirus, cela signifiait \u00e9galement que des nouvelles mesures politiques \u00e9taient vitales. Pour prot\u00e9ger les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de Medicare de l'exposition au covid-19, les Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ont annonc\u00e9 le 17 mars les premi\u00e8res dispositions de flexibilit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de t\u00e9l\u00e9sant\u00e9. Ainsi, elle a pu rembours\u00e9e aussi bien que les visites en pr\u00e9sentiel durant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine n\u00e9cessaire apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Une \u00e9tude de l'ASPE, le principal conseiller du minist\u00e8re am\u00e9ricain de la sant\u00e9, montre que la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine a explos\u00e9 dans le pays l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Alors que 840 000 Am\u00e9ricains ont utilis\u00e9 ces services en 2019, pr\u00e8s de 52,7 millions l'ont fait en 2020. L'\u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e au d\u00e9but du mois de d\u00e9cembre. Au moment m\u00eame o\u00f9 les d\u00e9fenseurs des droits de l'homme font pression pour rendre permanente la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine que le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a autoris\u00e9e au d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie. Cette augmentation s\u2019accompagne d\u2019une baisse de consultations dans les cabinets m\u00e9dicaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est frappant de constater que l'augmentation des soins de sant\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis a entra\u00een\u00e9 une baisse des consultations de Medicare. \u00ab Nos r\u00e9sultats montrent un d\u00e9clin net de l'utilisation des soins de sant\u00e9 en 2020. Et cela malgr\u00e9 une forte augmentation de la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine. Cela souligne la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir soigneusement \u00e0 l'expansion des installations de t\u00e9l\u00e9sant\u00e9 de Medicare<\/em>. Surtout apr\u00e8s la fin de la pand\u00e9mie. Et aussi d'\u00e9valuer les effets de la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine sur l'acc\u00e8s aux soins, leur qualit\u00e9 et les r\u00e9sultats en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9<\/em> \u00bb, indique le rapport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'e-sant\u00e9 de plus en plus remarqu\u00e9e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ce n'est pas une co\u00efncidence si l'utilisation de la t\u00e9l\u00e9sant\u00e9 dans le monde a augment\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on exponentielle depuis l'apparition de la pand\u00e9mie. Non seulement outre-Atlantique, mais aussi aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique, l'exploitation de la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine est de plus en plus forte. D\u2019ailleurs, diverses caisses d'assurance maladie<\/a> belges investissent dans l'achat de certaines applications m\u00e9dicales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est question d\u2019outils num\u00e9riques pour suivre ou traiter des probl\u00e8mes cardiaques ou d'hypertension. C\u2019est notamment l\u2019objectif de Plibo. Cette application d\u00e9livre des conseils et fournit un accompagnement personnalis\u00e9. Les patients diab\u00e9tiques peuvent \u00e9galement en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier. Ils peuvent, entre autres, utiliser l'application mySugr, qui permet d'enregistrer ses valeurs glyc\u00e9miques. La CM remboursera d\u00e9sormais 20 euros du co\u00fbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un pas de plus pour la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La Mutualiteit lib\u00e9rale a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l'histoire de la sant\u00e9 num\u00e9rique. Depuis le 1er<\/sup> janvier, l\u2019assurance maladie rembourse les applications m\u00e9dicales permettant de surveiller les patients souffrant d'arythmie cardiaque, d'\u00e9pilepsie, de cancer, de diab\u00e8te, de troubles du sommeil, etc. Les applications concern\u00e9es font toutes partie de mHealthBelgium et ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'e-sant\u00e9 s'est \u00e9galement bien implant\u00e9e aux Pays-Bas. Des am\u00e9liorations et des changements sont m\u00eame pr\u00e9vus dans diff\u00e9rents domaines par le nouveau gouvernement n\u00e9erlandais Rutte IV. C\u2019est en tout cas ce qu'indique le budget du minist\u00e8re de la sant\u00e9, du bien-\u00eatre et des sports (VWS). Dans le GGZ, l'e-sant\u00e9 est fortement exploit\u00e9e afin de r\u00e9duire les d\u00e9lais d'attente. Les patients b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d'un meilleur soutien lorsqu'ils sont sur une liste d'attente. De plus, ils peuvent joindre un prestataire de soins plus rapidement.
