L'objectif \u00e9tait d'explorer les possibilit\u00e9s de vivre plus longtemps de mani\u00e8re autonome.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Quelque 300 personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude europ\u00e9enne. Appel\u00e9e I-evAALution, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place en Italie, en Autriche, en Slov\u00e9nie et aux Pays-Bas. La moiti\u00e9 des participants, dont l'\u00e2ge moyen \u00e9tait d'environ 77 ans, disposaient de diverses aides technologiques \u00e0 domicile. L'autre moiti\u00e9 constituait le groupe t\u00e9moin. Les participants ont donc \u00e9t\u00e9 suivis sans aide particuli\u00e8re. \u00ab <em>Nous parlons d'un pack qui comprend une montre 2PCS avec une fonction d'alarme, un autre d'automatisation pour les capteurs \u00e0 la maison et d\u2019une tablette.<\/em> <em>Sur une p\u00e9riode d'un an, nous avons mesur\u00e9 l'impact des technologies de soins sur la qualit\u00e9 de vie des personnes.<\/em> \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Sanne van der Weegen, chef du projet Vilans.<\/p>\n<h3>Un sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>La recherche a montr\u00e9, entre autres, que les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es dont le domicile \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9 de technologies de soins, \u00e9prouvent un plus grand sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Ce m\u00eame ressenti \u00e9tait significativement moindre chez le groupe de contr\u00f4le. Un facteur important \u00e0 l\u2019origine de ce constat est l\u2019utilisation de la montre-alarme 2PCS. \u00ab <em>Ce dispositif envoie automatiquement une alerte si vous tombez. Vous pouvez \u00e9galement vous-m\u00eame faire un signalement en appuyant sur le bouton d\u2019urgence. Un moyen efficace de pr\u00e9venir imm\u00e9diatement les secours. Mais aussi de vous localiser automatiquement. <\/em>\u00bb, explique Sanne van der Weegen.<\/p>\n<p>Outre ces constats positifs, des \u00e9l\u00e9ments n\u00e9gatifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en lumi\u00e8re. Parmi eux : l\u2019utilit\u00e9 et la facilit\u00e9 des technologies. En effet, ces points ne sont pas per\u00e7us de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re, selon le groupe de participants. \u00ab<em> Les Slov\u00e8nes, par exemple, ont vraiment appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la tablette.<\/em> Mais \u00e7e n\u2019\u00e9tait pas le cas chez les n\u00e9erlandais, car ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 une tablette chez eux, ils n\u2019en voyaient pas l\u2019usage. \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le chef du projet Vilans.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00c9volutions futures<\/h3>\n<p>Pour que les soins num\u00e9riques aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es s\u2019inscrivent dans le futur, il faut qu\u2019ils prennent en compte leurs r\u00e9els besoins et attentes. De plus, ils doivent avoir un impact significatif pour leur permettre de rester autonomes chez eux le plus longtemps possible. En ce sens, les technologies num\u00e9riques peuvent y contribuer. C\u2019est le cas pour celles utilis\u00e9es dans l'\u00e9tude I-evAALution, mais aussi des capteurs et autres aides digitales qui am\u00e9liorent la qualit\u00e9 de vie des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.
