La gyn\u00e9cologue n\u00e9erlandaise Noortje van Oostrum a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l'efficacit\u00e9 de cette nouvelle technique dans le cadre de ses recherches doctorales \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital M\u00e1xima MC d'Eindhoven.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle technique d'\u00e9chographie permet de d\u00e9tecter un retard de croissance chez le b\u00e9b\u00e9 d\u00e8s la 20<sup>e<\/sup> semaine de grossesse. Auparavant, cela n'\u00e9tait pas possible avant la 34<sup>e<\/sup> semaine, voire plus tardivement. Si ce d\u00e9pistage peut d\u00e9sormais avoir lieu plus t\u00f4t, c'est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la gyn\u00e9cologue Noortje van Oostrum, qui a utilis\u00e9 la technique 2D-STE dans le cadre de ses recherches doctorales.<\/p>\n<p>Une avanc\u00e9e notable puisque les complications li\u00e9es sont graves. Les b\u00e9b\u00e9s concern\u00e9s peuvent plus tard pr\u00e9senter un risque accru de maladies m\u00e9taboliques, d'hypertension ou de diab\u00e8te. Il est donc essentiel de d\u00e9celer tout probl\u00e8me de croissance le plus t\u00f4t possible.<\/p>\n<h3>Bient\u00f4t r\u00e9pandu dans tous les Pays-Bas ?<\/h3>\n<p>Le c\u0153ur occupe une position centrale dans le bon d\u00e9veloppement m\u00e9tabiologique et physiologique. Il n'est donc pas surprenant que la gyn\u00e9cologue Noortje van Oostrum se soit focalis\u00e9e sur cet organe vital. \u00ab\u00a0<em>\u00c0 partir de ce constat, nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 chercher un moyen de mesurer la fonction cardiaque des b\u00e9b\u00e9s \u00e0 na\u00eetre sans causer de dommages<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb, explique-t-elle. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Avec la technique 2D-STE, en plus de v\u00e9rifier le rythme cardiaque, nous pouvons \u00e9galement surveiller si le c\u0153ur \u00e9volue normalement. Il semble qu\u2019il bouge diff\u00e9remment chez un f\u0153tus qui pr\u00e9sente un retard de croissance et nous pouvons le mesurer pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment avec notre nouvelle \u00e9chographie. Si des signes r\u00e9v\u00e9lateurs sont constat\u00e9s, les m\u00e9decins peuvent d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9agir plus rapidement en surveillant davantage l'enfant.\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>L'objectif est maintenant de mettre en place une \u00e9tude de suivi pour analyser les r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle chez des femmes enceintes en bonne sant\u00e9. S\u2019ils sont concluants, la m\u00e9thode innovante pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans l'ensemble des Pays-Bas, explique Guid Oei, le superviseur de Noortje van Oostrum et gyn\u00e9cologue \u00e0 MMC. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Si nous pouvons appliquer cette technique \u00e0 toutes les femmes enceintes en bonne sant\u00e9 des Pays-Bas lors de leur \u00e9chographie \u00e0 faire \u00e0 la 20<sup>e<\/sup> semaine, cela ne peut \u00eatre que profitable aux soins des nouveau-n\u00e9s.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La nouvelle technique d'\u00e9chographie permet de d\u00e9tecter un retard de croissance chez le b\u00e9b\u00e9 d\u00e8s la 20e semaine de grossesse.
