{"id":48048,"date":"2021-06-07T10:16:39","date_gmt":"2021-06-07T08:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smarthealth.live\/?p=48048"},"modified":"2021-06-09T10:33:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T08:33:32","slug":"autisme-infantile-un-nouvel-outil-de-depistage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smarthealth.live\/fr\/2021\/06\/07\/autisme-infantile-un-nouvel-outil-de-depistage\/","title":{"rendered":"Autisme infantile : un nouvel outil de d\u00e9pistage approuv\u00e9 par la FDA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Un nouveau logiciel pour d\u00e9pister l\u2019autisme infantile sera bient\u00f4t disponible pour aider les p\u00e9diatres \u00e0 poser un diagnostic pr\u00e9coce chez les patients \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 mois \u00e0 5 ans. \u00c9labor\u00e9 par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de soins comportementaux p\u00e9diatriques Cognoa, Can,vas Dx, vient d\u2019\u00eatre approuv\u00e9 par le label De Novo de la Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Cet outil r\u00e9volutionnaire repr\u00e9sente d\u00e9sormais une aide l\u00e9gitime qui pourrait changer la donne pour les soignants et les familles.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'outil Canvas Dx de Cognoa, qui permet de d\u00e9pister les troubles du spectre autistiques (TSA) chez les enfants, vient enfin d\u2019\u00eatre approuv\u00e9 par la FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Le logiciel de diagnostic utilise des algorithmes d'apprentissage automatique pour analyser diverses donn\u00e9es. Il recoupe notamment les divers comportements film\u00e9s de l'enfant ainsi que les r\u00e9ponses remplies par les parents et les soignants. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 exprim\u00e9 son ambition de demander un classement De Novo l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. C\u2019est donc une excellente nouvelle pour cet outil novateur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans un communiqu\u00e9, le PDG de Cognoa, Dave Happel, a salu\u00e9 la d\u00e9cision de la FDA : <em>\u00ab <\/em><\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette autorisation est une \u00e9tape cruciale dans le d\u00e9veloppement du logiciel. Elle va permettre de proposer tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t un diagnostic plus accessible aux enfants et aux familles et cela ind\u00e9pendamment du sexe, de l'ethnie, de la race, du lieu d\u2019habitation ou du contexte socio-\u00e9conomique. Nous sommes impatients de travailler avec le corps m\u00e9dical et d\u2019introduire Canvas Dx dans les mois \u00e0 venir.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00bb<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3><b>Scientifiquement prouv\u00e9<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019approbation ne s\u2019est pas faite au hasard. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenue apr\u00e8s un long processus de recherches rigoureux. Canvas Dx a d\u2019ailleurs prouv\u00e9 l'innocuit\u00e9 et l'efficacit\u00e9 de son logiciel sur la base d'une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par Cognoa. Cette derni\u00e8re a permis de comparer les diagnostics propos\u00e9s par l'appareil \u00e0 ceux \u00e9tablis par un panel d'experts qui utilisaient le processus actuel de d\u00e9pistage des TSA. Cette analyse s\u2019est faite sur 425 patients avec un \u00e2ge moyen de 2,8 ans (les patients avaient entre 18 mois et 5 ans) dans 14 centres de soins diff\u00e9rents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selon le rapport scientifique, 81 % des diagnostics positifs pour les TSA de Canvas Dx correspondaient \u00e0 ceux \u00e9tablis par le panel d\u2019experts contre 98 % pour les patients test\u00e9s n\u00e9gatifs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Un diagnostic pr\u00e9coce, pour une meilleure prise en charge<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c0 ce jour, il n'existe aucun test m\u00e9dical pr\u00e9cis permettant de d\u00e9pister les TSA. Les diagnostics sont donc difficiles \u00e0 poser surtout sachant que les sympt\u00f4mes peuvent varier d'un patient \u00e0 l'autre. Ainsi, si ce trouble peut \u00eatre d\u00e9cel\u00e9 d\u00e8s 18 mois, de nombreux enfants ne re\u00e7oivent une \u00e9valuation qu'\u00e0 l'adolescence ou m\u00eame \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge adulte. De plus, selon la Health Resources and Services Administration, il existe des diff\u00e9rences importantes dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ce d\u00e9pistage. Plusieurs \u00e9tudes ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les enfants issus de minorit\u00e9s raciales et ethniques, ceux issus de milieux socio-\u00e9conomiques d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s ou encore non anglophones sont moins susceptibles de recevoir un diagnostic de TSA ni m\u00eame d'\u00eatre \u00e9valu\u00e9s plus tard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les m\u00e9decins cherchent donc \u00e0 inverser cette tendance. Pour eux il ne fait aucun doute que \u00ab <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>plus t\u00f4t les TSA sont diagnostiqu\u00e9s, mieux les patients seront prise en charge \u00bb<\/em>. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019est justement que peut faire l'utilisation d\u2019un logiciel comme Canvas Dx.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Dr Jeff Shuren, directeur du Center for Devices and Radiological Health de la FDA r\u00e9sume tr\u00e8s bien la situation dans un communiqu\u00e9 en affirmant que <em>\u00ab <\/em><\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'autorisation de mise sur le march\u00e9 accord\u00e9e aujourd'hui fournit un nouvel outil pr\u00e9cieux pour aider \u00e0 diagnostiquer des enfants atteints de TSA<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00bb<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le logiciel Can,vas Dx devrait bient\u00f4t permettre de d\u00e9pister l'autisme infantile plus facilement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":43,"featured_media":48013,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4615],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-48048","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-diagnostics"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v20.8 (Yoast SEO v28.2) -
