Lors du CES, le plus grand salon technologique au monde qui s'est tenu \u00e0 Las Vegas, Omron a annonc\u00e9 que les ventes de la montre avaient commenc\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le moyen le plus courant de mesurer la pression art\u00e9rielle est d'utiliser un tensiom\u00e8tre classique. Un tel compteur est reli\u00e9 par un tuyau en caoutchouc \u00e0 une bande \u00e9paisse, une machette. Cette machette est pass\u00e9e autour de la partie sup\u00e9rieure du bras et est ensuite gonfl\u00e9e. Les art\u00e8res sont compl\u00e8tement ferm\u00e9es par pompage; le pouls n'est donc plus perceptible. La machette se d\u00e9gonfle alors lentement. D\u00e8s que le pouls est ressenti et que le sang coule \u00e0 nouveau dans les veines, l'appareil mesure la surpression. Lorsque le sang peut \u00e0 nouveau circuler librement, la pression n\u00e9gative est mesur\u00e9e.\\<\/p>\n<p>Le HeartGuide, comme on nomme ce dispositif portable, contient un tensiom\u00e8tre sous le bracelet de la montre. Les mesures sont effectu\u00e9es \u00e0 intervalles fixes pendant la journ\u00e9e et la nuit. La particularit\u00e9 du HeartGuide est que la FDA a autoris\u00e9 son utilisation en tant que dispositif m\u00e9dical.<\/p>\n<p>La montre, qui se d\u00e9cline en trois tailles, co\u00fbte 499 $ (environ 400 euros). C'est le haut de gamme du march\u00e9 pour une smartwatch - en plus du tensiom\u00e8tre, HeartGuide propose \u00e9galement des notifications et un suivi d'activit\u00e9 - mais Omron consid\u00e8re la montre comme un dispositif m\u00e9dical. Pour l\u2019instant, le HeartGuide d'Omron ne peut \u00eatre achet\u00e9 qu'aux Etats-Unis.
